A Cheeky Angel
♫~†~♪~♫~†~♪~♫~†~♪~♫~†~♪
If you’re given a chance to wish something that will be granted, what would it be? Sounds like a beauty pageant question, right? But, face it, if I would ask you, what will be your wish? A red sports car? Millions of money? House and lot? Hmm..Kinda tough, right? But 9 year-old Megumi is different. He asked for something I bet you never seem to think of. Know what is it? Read on and I’ll tell you.
Megumi Amatsuka is an energetic, wild and loud-mouth bratty kid who saved a mysterious man that was being bullied by a group of ill-disciplined children. Because of his ‘kindness’, Megumi received a magical book that can grant him wishes (as a typical magical anime series would begin). He summoned a genie and was asked to give his wish. Without a second thought, he said “make me the manliest of all men!” But instead of becoming the manliest of all men, he became the "womanliest woman on earth"!
The sorcerer apologized to him because of what happened and told him that it would take 10 years before the wish can be reversed. Because of anger, Megumi threw the book into the river. But she later realized that maybe the only way to reverse the spell was with the book also, so when he was told by a mysterious psychic that he could find the book by entering to Furinkan High School. And thus, her search for it began. Not to talk about how difficult it was since he has now turned into a lovely young woman..so stunning that he mesmerized every boy’s heart in his school. The funny thing is even though he looked feminine and gorgeous; he retained his masculine actions and behavior. But what if there’s a guy who fell head over heels towards him..would he allow himself to fall and eventually accepts his present condition or will he continues searching for the lost book that would turn him into being a man?
Having a total of 50 butt-kicking episodes, A Cheeky Angel or Tenshi Na Konamaiki is another gender bender romantic comedy series (like Ranma 1/2) that was based from the manga of the same title which won the 2001 Shogakukan Manga Award for Shonen.
Join Megumi in his fun-filled frenzy adventure as he makes his choice that will surely change his life forever.
BAKA USAGI(which can be translated as "stupid rabbit")
I got it from watching 2 animes which I really enjoyed: pandora hearts and junjou romantica.
In the magical world of pandora hearts, one of the main character is Alice which transforms into a black rabbit. She got the nickname from Gilbert Nightray whose always having petty fights with her.(~ ^ O ^)~?
In junjou romantica, Akihiko Usami's nickname is "Usagi-san" and when he makes fun of Misaki of doing ecchi stuffs with him, Misaki calls him "baka usagi-san". I always love those scenes where misaki blushes and fights over his feelings and totally denying it.
I personally rabbitbecause they are cute and all. And t's okay for me to be called an idiot. In manga and anime, being an idiot is a cool and cute thing since you can start at the beginning being weak then slowly moving forward and becoming who you want to be.
I like to admit i'm an idiot--in dealing with things i don't know. I guess it's okay to be an idiot as long as you know who you are and you know what's your purpose in life.
Why AYU?
AYU
I got it from the name of my favorite character in an anime which taught me the bitter and most hurtful side of love--honey and clover. Her whole name is Ayumi Yamada.
A third-year art student, age 21 at the start of the series, specializing in ceramic arts. She is well-known by other students for her pottery and her nicknameTetsujin "Iron-lady" for running 6 km to school every morning to help her dog lose weight. She is depicted as a beautiful young woman, who catches the attention of her male friends and coworkers. Yamada is deeply in love with Mayama, but he does not return her feelings and repeatedly encourages her to find someone else. Later in the series, she is angered by Mayama's sudden protectiveness when he tries to shield her from his former boss, Nomiya. Yamada is close friends with Hagu, who addresses her by first name. At the end of the series, Yamada continues as a graduate student in art, while making pottery for Harada Design.(-x)
While I was watching the anime, I could relate myself to herthat's why I started adapting her nickname "ayu" as my pen name.
