No. of Episodes: 12"I-I don't even understand the letter C in Catholic!" - Miyamae Kanako
Genre/s: comedy, romance, yuri*, school life
Before the first day of school, she meets an alluring freshmen who she thought might be her soulmate yet to her dismay, Mariya happens to be a sadistic cross-dressing boy.
Pros: The illustration and background and character designs are beautifully done. The ironic plot is really something that catches someone's attention. It also gives high entertainment value that would make you laugh almost every moment of the show. The opening and ending songs as well as the background music fit the theme and adds more parody to it.
Cons: First, this anime is so wordy that you may have some difficulties following what the characters say. It's as if they're tongue-twisting. Too many blunt words have been used so this may not be so good to watch if you're too young. Some episodes doesn't connect with the main plot and the ending doesn't solve all the conflicts in the story. Maybe it's because the manga, where it was based, is still ongoing. The shifting of one person from another is so fast that sometimes it gives confusion to the audience.
P.S. (Actually this is my first time watching a yuri anime..) Anyway, Though I haven't read the manga, I guess it's better if Kanako(the lesbian girl) ends up falling in love with Mariya ( the cross-dressing boy) and Mariya finally teaches her not to hate boys anymore, right?
